Radio Control Vehicles
Radio-controlled (or R/C) cars are usually categorized as either "toy" or "hobby" grade. Remote-controlled vehicles differ from radio-controlled by the presence of a wire cable connecting the transmitter and the car, limiting their movement.
Radio controlled cars are typically classified either as a hobby class or a toy class. The radio controlled cars can be electric, or they can be fuel-powered. Some radio controlled cars using fuel-power are called nitro cars. Our focus is on radio controlled cars that are hobby grade. These vehicles needs maintenance on a regular basis to run in peak performance. There are RTR (ready-to-run) radio controlled cars, and there are also ARTR radio controlled cars, which are almost-ready-to-run. There's a third type of radio controlled cars that are sold in kits. Both electric radio controlled cars and nitro radio controlled cars can achieve extremely high speeds.
Size-wise, nitro radio controlled cars are often larger than electric radio controlled cars. Gasoline powered radio controlled vehicles are the biggest, and most expensive, type of radio controlled vehicle.
Accessories for radio controlled cars can be very important. Electric radio controlled cars will need a charger. Battery packs are also another useful accessory for electric radio controlled cars. There are a number of other performance enhancement accessories that can be purchased for radio controlled cars.
Radio controlled cars are also known as "r/c" cars or "r/c" vehicles.
